Okay. Enough waiting.
You swim down to what seems to be the entrace to the Sanctuary. You see writing on a large stone door that apparently isn't moving from you people.
You read the writing,
The creatures of decimation, that cry and screech with fear, will lead you toward the light, where you never shed a tear
Mmmmhmmm. Ask any questions you need to figure out this puzzle. I'll answer anything.

That is one of the few questions that I cannot answer and that you must answer yourself.

Is there any metaphoric meanings in this riddle? (BTW in a poem you have to capitalize the first letter of every line...GAH LANG ARTS TEACHER GOT TO ME!)

Loki suddenly swam up beside you all, from nowhere. "Merdrakes, you say?" he said as if he had been there the whole time.

"'The creatures of decimation.' Well, a monster of Scryon quite possibly? 'That cry and screech with fear.' An attack of this specific monster? 'Will lead you toward the light.' Considering the answer, they'll guide us to the entrance in some way? 'Where you never shed a tear.' Well, in this place, you probably wouldn't cry for being to focused on fighting or something wouldn't allow you to cry. Now just to piece it together..."
