Along with a re-opening revival session, we got this, a brand new story comprised from the ashed ideas from Momento Apocalypsis.
Right-o.
Also, Centaurs. @_@ Win.
Chapter 1 - An Upbringing of Madness
The Centaurion adjusted his belt, making sure to keep his blade intact in the sheath. He was to be watching for whatever could be a harm to the Centaurion capital of Ethion, which to the Centaurion's opinion, was little to nothing.
The wind howled, and the Centaurion shivered. Gonna be a cold night, he thought to himself. He braced himself for a long, drought out night. He glanced backward at the city that was beginning to come to life. It was a more modern city rather than the other cities of Netheria. The houses were lit with magic, and the fires were struck on stone.
Another howl of wind brought the Centaurion to moan. His job was the more boring of the Ethion jobs. He had always dreamt of joining the Ethion Brigade, an illegal band of mauraders that spent their days protecting the city, yet stealing and causing mayhem at the same time. The Great Centaurs always found themselves going through all the hastle of trying to negate their foolish actions, but alas, it were to no avail.
The Centaur looked ahead at the setting sun. All was calm, at least he thought. A small speck in the horizon of the setting sun came to his attention. The Centaur panicked.
"Wh-what is this? What could be so unfortunate as to come about the capital of Netheria? It looks not of something I've ever seen."
The centaur quickly turned around and galloped to the Hall of the Great Centaurs.
---|||---
They called him Shay.
The leader of the Ethion Brigade, most respected centaur in all of Ethion.
His skill with his bow was unmatched, nobody could shoot a target as well as he could, neither could they slay an orc with such furiousity. Nobody knew who we really was, neither did they care. As long as Shay was around, Ethion was alive with a spark of excited natures, waiting for Shay's next big plan.
"Reth, take aim at the bell above the Great Hall's doorway. Nail it when I give ya the signal"
Reth saluted his leader. Reth was the technical advisor of the group, to say the least. He was smart, and helped Shay with his plans. He was a younger centaur, though, so he had less experience. Nonetheless, he was learning magic. His teachers were always impressed with his intelligence of magic, and the Centaurion History of Wizards.
"Ellah, ready the Stickler Bombs"
Ellah, the female of the group. She found herselves outside of the action of things, considering her female nature. Considerng the small number of female Centaurs, the Ethion Brigade took good care of her.
"Cloak, on the signal, get us out of here"
Cloak, the stealthy of the group. Some called him the assasin. He always had an escape plan.
Shay held up his hand so they all could see. He counted down from three...two...
DING!
Reth hit the bell with one of his flat and worn out arrows. Immediately the Great Centaurs rushed out as fast as they could to see what was happening. Ellah quickly tossed the Stickler Bombs, and chuckled as a barrage of needles exploded on the Great Centaurs. Immediately Cloak tossed down some smoke grenades, which also were to hit the Great Centaurs, to Cloak's amusement. The Ethion Brigade escaped the madness. They glanced back to see every centaur from everywhere applauding as the Great Centaurs scolded and wandered back into the hall.
Suddenly, however, before they had stopped running, the horn of the Centaur Guards blew.
"It's Nepharium! The world is fading!"
