Ktsed falls to his knees, disappointed by the betrayal, and clenches the ground, making a face that would be painful to behold. He stands up, knowing what he must do. For the Tethi Aaish Omid. For redemption. For himself, mostly, but the other titles make him feel better about it.

Ktsed gets to his feet and begins walking due south, wondering what time of day or night it is. He stops a good three hundred yards from the town and hides behind a small boulder.

Ktsed carefully closes the distance between the movement and himself, trying to stay out of sight. When he is about twenty yards, excuse me, twenty meters from the movement, he stands up straight, making himself visible and calls out, his dagger in his hand.

Ktsed sprints forward as quietly as he can and jumps behind the outcropping, ready to fight.

Ktsed sheathes his knife and hides the hilt from view. He walks towards the voice and announces "If my name mattered, you'd know it by now. The only thing you really need to know right now is that I'm a merchant who got lost heading for the capital, and I mean no harm to anyone from that." Ktsed motions to the village with disgust.
